Love is ultimately a decision more than it is a feeling, an act of will. Loving yourself first is the foundation. That is self-awareness which allows you to discover your purpose, embracing who you are, and whose you are. Remember to give yourself grace and be kind to yourself. Once you have nurtured yourself, loving others becomes natural. It is something you can do freely and with authenticity because you are no longer seeking that emotional void. Most importantly, if children can give love freely without condition then so can we. Love exists even for a wild child like you.
